2023 Conference – another great weekend!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at this year’s ARRC Symposium and The BAcC Annual Conference in Staffordshire. We had such a great time and hope you did too!

Spread across three days, the weekend event offered a chance to come together, to connect in person and to learn from inspirational and insightful speakers. We had the pleasure of learning from over 20 different speakers last month and want to thank all of our speakers and guests who travelled from all over the globe to join us. It was so great to put faces to names, to meet up once again with friends and colleagues and, of course, make new acquaintances too!

The theme for 2023 was Imagery (象xiàng). Keynote speakers, panel discussions, movement and wellbeing sessions, and open discussions all explored this theme, offering fresh ideas on theory, practice and research.

We also had a great array of sponsors and supporters this year, without whom the event would not have been possible. Our exhibition hall was full of wonderful businesses who were on hand to support our members with their business and practice needs. It was lovely to mingle in person – and even Moxi popped up every now and then!

On Saturday evening, we enjoyed our BAcC annual gala dinner where we were able to congratulate our new BAcC Fellows – Henry Dyczek, Peter Mole and Colette Assor (unable to receive her award in person). Our Fellows are practitioners who have been a Member of the BAcC for at least ten years, have done valuable work to raise the profile of acupuncture as a profession, and/or have made an impact on the working lives of their peers in acupuncture and beyond. We were delighted to award Henry, Peter and Colette for their efforts.

We hope you enjoy some highlights from this year’s event.
