External Examiner position
BAAB accredited college, The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, is looking for a new External Examiner, to review samples of assessed student work, attend two meetings per year (this may be possible remotely), and produce a brief report following each meeting.
You must be a qualified acupuncturist, or retired acupuncturist, with your original training at BAAB accreditation level, as well as being a current or retired BAcC member.
You should have a thorough understanding of the UK HE sector, to enable you to provide quality assurance, including being able to identify good practice and recommend enhancements.
Ideally, you will have experience in either acupuncture course external examining, and/or senior teaching in an acupuncture institution, and/or experience in assessing students at degree level in another field of education.
