Acupuncture Awareness Week 2025 – group collaboration session
Morning session (10.00 – 13.00)
This session will focus on preparing for Acupuncture Awareness Week in November 2025, aimed at promoting traditional acupuncture and reinforcing the trusted identity of BAcC Members. How we are represented to the public is something that we are all passionate about. This is your chance to participate in the development of the upcoming campaign.
The session will be led by BAcC CEO, Alex Jacobs, and the communications team. It will be a friendly creative atmosphere where you will be able to discuss in small groups the issues that mean the most to you. No experience in marketing or PR is necessary, your voice and experience in studying and practising acupuncture is what counts.
Be part of the movement that pushes traditional acupuncture forward and helps to unfold its full potential.
BAcC five-year strategy development session
Afternoon session (14.00 – 17.30)
Do you feel strongly about the direction of the BAcC? This is your opportunity to have your voice heard and feed into the development of the BAcC’s next five-year strategy. The strategy will serve as the roadmap for the organisation from 2026 to 2030. In this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss the issues that are important to you with other members and the Governing Board and CEO. You can give feedback on the BAcC’s performance and offer suggestions for its future direction. The actions we take as members are key, not only to our own future but to the legacy we leave behind for later generations. Build the future and join us on this important day! This session is open to all members, including students, as the future of the profession impacts everyone.
Evening drinks, celebrations and presentations (18.00 – 19.00)
This bonus addition to the conference, kindly sponsored by Lockton, includes free lunch and evening drinks for all attendees. We hope you’ll be able to come to the Friday evening drinks reception and join your fellow members in toasting 30 years of the BAcC! We’ll also be celebrating our new Fellows at the reception, and it’s a great chance to meet friends old and new.
