Paul Blacker

Paul has been in practice for over 25 years and practises acupuncture, tuina (Chinese medical massage), sports massage, qigong and dietary therapy. He is also first aid instructor for the RFU (Rugby Football Union). He graduated in massage in 1993 and in acupuncture in 1997, and achieved his master’s in education in 2012.

For over 20 years Paul has taught acupuncture and massage. He has also taught all aspects of Chinese medicine, living anatomy, practitioner development and setting up in practice at colleges in the UK, and has published research in profession specific magazines.

He has special interests in mental health conditions such as anxiety, treating addictions like smoking and cocaine use, treating acute and chronic injuries, helping chronic pain, treating gynaecological issues such as painful periods and mood swings, and age-related conditions such as arthritis.

As well as being registered with the BAcC, he is also a fully qualified member of the (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the Institute for Learning (IfL), and the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
