Practical Information-Sharing Day

This in-person event is being organised by the Somerset Regional Group. All members welcome.

Morning session – Electro-Acupuncture
In the morning session (10am – 1pm), Kay Hay will give a short presentation on electro-acupuncture basics, some typical uses and some current research and protocols including typical usage for male and female fertility.  This will be followed by a general discussion and practical knowledge-sharing session.  Bring your devices so we can compare machines and their set-up parameters.
Note from Kay: I am by no means an expert on this but am willing to share what I know.  Whether you’ve used electro and have knowledge to share or whether you never have and want to find out more, come and enjoy a morning of talking shop.
Cost for the morning session – £10

Afternoon session – Moxa
The afternoon session (2pm – 5pm) will be an informal information-sharing session looking at different moxa techniques and how and when to use them.  Bring along your favourite moxa products, tools, knowledge and questions!  What techniques work for you and your patients?  What doesn’t?  What moxa do you like working with?  What hasn’t quite worked for you in the past?  This will be an opportunity to share and demonstrate what you do know, and ask your colleagues about what you don’t.
Cost for the afternoon session – £10
