Consent: the legal perspective

This webinar is open to all members. It is the first instalment of a new six-part webinar series for our Let’s talk about…Boundaries and Consent campaign. It’s also the May instalment of the Safe Practice Events Series. 

Consent is integral to good treatment. It is important that it is not forgotten or diminished in importance by practitioners and should be recorded in your consultation records. Flora McCabe, solicitor for Lockton,  who heads up the advocacy and defence function of BAcC’s insurance discusses the importance of consent. In this important webinar she will discuss the ingredients required to achieve appropriate consent, how to create the correct documentation and the common pitfalls to avoid. Flora’s presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
